Description:

This course provides a critical review of landmark Federal Court decisions that shape standard administrative procedures in Canadian immigration. Practitioners will analyze precedents regarding the strict limits of status restoration (Kaur), the judicial review of returned "incomplete" applications (Devgon), and differing thresholds for study permit refusals based on the quality of study plans (Aghajari vs. Akram).

This seminar is specifically designed and presented for RCICs and RISIAs.
