Description:

This course addresses the Strengthening Canada's Immigration System and Borders Act (Bill C-12) and the resulting IRPA Section 101 amendments regarding asylum claimant ineligibility. Practitioners will learn about the retroactively applied 1-year and 14-day rules, the diversion of claims to the PRRA process, expanded ministerial powers, and temporary public policies protecting unaccompanied minors.

This seminar is specifically designed and presented for RCICs and RISIAs.
