Description:

This session explores the critical changes to Canadian citizenship by descent enacted by Bill C-3, effective December 15, 2025. It examines the constitutional violations of the previous first-generation limit rule, the legislative response to the landmark Bjorkquist decision, and the contemporary controversy surrounding IRCC directives forcing new citizens to surrender their citizenship certificates.
